Back to Frequently Asked Questions

Is my clock worth fixing?

Most older mechanical clocks are worth fixing unless they have sustained extensive mechanical or case damage. Often, it is a very personal decision based on what a particular clock is worth to a person or a family as an heirloom.

Back to Frequently Asked Questions

I have a grandfather clock. Do I need to bring the whole clock in to have it worked on?

No. BIT will make a housecall to lube and make minor adjustments or repairs to grandfather clocks. If the clock needs cleaning or extensive repairs, the mechanism can be safely removed from the case and taken to our shop.
