On any type of clock, it is possible for the hands to get bent and interfere with each other or touch the dial or the glass covering the dial.

Take a close look at the hands and see if this is the case. If so, stop the clock and carefully bend the hands slightly so they can make a full rotation around the dial of the clock without touching anything.

If the hands are severely bent or broken, they should be replaced. This should be done by a clock repair specialist.
